Linda Bledsoe

Linda Kay Bledsoe of Cedaredge died Feb. 29, 2016. She was 61.

A celebration of life was held Saturday, March 5, at Graystone in Eckert.

Ms. Bledsoe was born in Sterling Feb. 26, 2016, to Bob and Carol Bledsoe. She spent her childhood on the Front Range. She attended high school in Loveland and graduated from Valley High School in Gilcrest.

In 1973 she began working for the U.S. Forest Service in Fort Collins. She spent the rest of her career working for the Bureau of Land Management and U.S. Forest Service where she became a lands and minerals specialist. Most recently she worked in the Grand Junction Forest Service office. As part of her training she studied paralegal studies/law through Colorado State University Pueblo.

Ms. Bledsoe enjoyed spending time with family and friends, NASCAR, sports and supporting her sons and grandchildren in their sporting events. She coached her sons' sports teams and volunteered in the community.

She is survived by her sons, Jason (Heather) Cerise of Montrose, Craig (Amanda) Cerise of Cedaredge and Anthony (Sidney) Cerise of Greeley; her brothers, Dennis Bledsoe of Chandler, Ariz., and Rod (Kelly) Bledsoe of Windsor; her sister, Vicki (Pat) Grover of Highlands Ranch; and her granchildren, Isabel, Maya, Blaine, Autumn, Dylan and Colton.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Bob and Carol Bledsoe.

Memorial contributions may be sent to the American Heart Association.
