Delta County 4-H'ers served approximately 2,052 dinners at their 66th annual 4-H Beef Roast, Sunday, March 6. The once-a-year 4-H fundraising activity served 1,042 meals at Hotchkiss High and 1,010 at Delta Middle School. The 4-H Beef Roast will provide funding to support educational programming for boys and girls in Delta County who participate in the 4-H program.
Delta County 4-H members, leaders, parents and the CSU Extension Service would like to thank all volunteers for their work in helping prepare and serve the meal along with Delta Middle School and Hotchkiss High School for the use of their facilities. Thanks also to all of the patrons of the Beef Roast from the Tri River area that enjoyed the delicious meal! These friends of 4-H are supporting the Delta County 4-H program by generously giving their time and through financial contributions at this annual 4-H event.
