Delta County School District personnel — including classified and certified staff — that may be affected by the loss of their jobs due to budget constraints may hear the news sooner rather than later.

In an effort to be fair to potentially impacted employees, the budget task force wrote a statement to the board of education encouraging them to inform the employees early about their job loss.
