Volunteers with the Abraham Connection Homeless Shelter are organizing a community-wide yard sale on Saturday, June 3, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., at the parking lots on 6th and Main streets in Delta.
The event is an opportunity for sellers to showcase their wares to a huge audience, all in one location. A 10x10 space costs just $10. Though this event is mainly for those wishing to sell or buy yard sale/flea market type items, organizers are allowing for-profit businesses, food vendors, artists/crafters and home-based businesses to purchase spots as well, for a higher rate.
Visit www.DeltaAbrahamConnection.org or visit its Facebook page for information and vendor registration forms.
On Dec. 4 Delta County Commissioners Doug Atchley, Mark Roeber and Don Suppes denied the application of Paonia Holdings, LLC for a change of land use for the property at 41322 Highway 133, with an adjacent residence at 41402 Highway 133 and an ancillary property at 16180 Stevens Gulch Road.
The property is owned by Bowie Resources, LLC, and was formerly used as a coal load-out site.
