Alan King has retired from Raymond James financial services, transferring the business to his son, Toby, who served as co-manager for the past four years.

Toby King obtained his Series 24 registered principal license in 2012 and is a certified financial planner. He is in the process of becoming an endorsed local provider for Dave Ramsey's SmartVestor Pro, so he can continue to provide the same level of investor services as his father.

Alan King has operated the Raymond James office at 338 Main in Delta since 2002. He moved to Delta in 1989 to open an Edward Jones office.

A retirement "sendoff" is planned Friday, Sept. 23, from 5 to 7 p.m. at CB's Tavern. All are invited.
