Delta's Future Business Leaders of America

In the midst of Delta High a group of students are titled as our Future Business Leaders of America. These teens belong to an established, nationwide organization known as FBLA. Independently and effectively they choose an event to compete in against other bright minds of Colorado. Events include a variety of test taking, role playing, impromptu speaking, debating and presenting. Students study and work diligently on their own time in preparation for regionals at Colorado Mesa University. Young scholars placing in the top four of their event will then advance to compete at the Colorado State Leadership Conference held in Vail. Regionals are yet to come but the boys and girls exemplify promising behavior as they conquer academics, extracurriculars, athletics and their strive for the business association.

The 2017-2018 FBLA members include Miriam Aleman, Jaspe Arias, Andrew Baier, Evan Baier, Joe Bules, Sarah Bules, Yovana Caballero, KC Carlson, Haylee Chamblin, Julian Chavira, Kelsey Cloward, Claire Corbasson, Haylee Curry, Lauren Davey, Eli Farmer, Caleb Frazier, Shannon Goff, Morgan Hamm, Sameha Haque, Kendra Hillman, John Holgate, Makayla Kortz, Skyler Kraai, Gauge Lockhart, Mimi Lousignnot, Mykyla Miramontes, Stephanie Ponce, Jenna Sutliff, Kayla Teel, Ashley Trevino, and Leslie Velasquez. May we all compete sedulously and pridefully represent Delta High school.
