Trent Ashby, 37, of Austin suffered serious injuries in a motorcycle accident at about 10 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 17.
Ashby was traveling southbound on Happy Hollow Road when he went through the "T" intersection of Happy Hollow and North roads. After losing control on the roadway, the motorcycle rolled onto its left side. Ashby was ejected from the 1995 Kawasaki.
He was airlifted to St. Mary's Hospital.
According to the Colorado State Patrol, alcohol and speed are suspected as contributing factors.
At their March 5 meeting Commissioners Doug Atchley, Mark Roeber and Don Suppes made two appointments to the county planning commission. Steve Shea was reappointed for a three-year term.
