Elizabeth Christa Baier, daughter of George and Bonnie Baier of Delta, and Thomas John Knob, son of Philip and Jane Knob, exchanged wedding vows June 18, 2016, at St. Michael's Catholic Church in Delta. Father Albeiro Herrera performed the double-ring ceremony with Deacons Nicholas Larkin and Price Hatcher.
Music was provided by Dottie Ellen Meehan, pianist, and Jacinta Scheetz, vocalist.
The maid of honor was Christa Baier, sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were Amy Baier, sister of the bride, Miryam Knob, sister of the groom, Emily Baldwin, Breanna Kendrick and two friends from Kansas City, Mo., Jenna Jirak and Veronica Sten.
The groom's brothers, Stephan Knob and Joseph Knob, served as the best men. Groomsmen were George Baier, brother of the bride, Lucas Baier, brother of the bride, Eli Baier, a cousin of the bride, and Colin Dettlaff, a cousin of the groom.
Ernie Baier and Augie Zidek were the ushers. Lillie Baier served as flower girl, and Liam Baier was the ring bearer. Lillie and Liam are cousins of the bride.
A reception was held in Olathe that evening. Sarah Knob, Sharon Knob, Susanna Knob and Amy Knob presided at the reception, where a cake made by the groom's godmother, Loretta Scheetz, was served.
The couple honeymooned in Jamaica and is now at home in Delta. The bride is a graduate of Vision Charter Academy and Benedictine College. She is employed by Delta County Memorial Hospital.
The groom attended Vision Charter Academy and graduated from Delta High School. He is a graduate of Colorado Mesa University. He is employed by the U.S. Forest Service and is self-employed as a farmer.
