Austin resident Bambie Lynn Ware died April 26, 2016, at her home. She was 58.
A graveside service was held April 29 at Mesa View Cemetery.
Bambie Lynn Pierce was born in Evergreen July 2, 1957, to Joseph and Patricia (Witt) Pierce. She spent her childhood in Denver and Delta County. She attended school in Delta County.
She married Archie Ware Sr. on June 25, 1974, in Cheyenne, Wyo.
They were members of the Brothers of the Third Wheel. Mrs. Ware enjoyed crafts, sewing, crocheting, cooking, baking and most of all, spending time with her grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband of 42 years, Archie Ware Sr. of Austin; sons, Archie Ware Jr. of Delta, Justin Ware of San Francisco, Calif., and Jesse Ware of Delta; three brothers, Duane Pierce of California and Donny Pierce and K.D. Murry, both of Colorado; a sister, Coleen Webb of Aurora; and five grandchildren, Monique Ware, Jesse Ware Jr., David Ware, Archer Ware, all of Delta, and Dalton Mert-zig-Ware of Wisconsin.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, Carey Murry and Bobbie Pierce.
Taylor Funeral Service and Crematory handled the arrangements.

On Dec. 4 Delta County Commissioners Doug Atchley, Mark Roeber and Don Suppes denied the application of Paonia Holdings, LLC for a change of land use for the property at 41322 Highway 133, with an adjacent residence at 41402 Highway 133 and an ancillary property at 16180 Stevens Gulch Road.
The property is owned by Bowie Resources, LLC, and was formerly used as a coal load-out site.
