Barbara Lee Lyons died May 13, 2016, at her home in Montrose. She was 80.
She was born to Harold and Elizabeth (Fausnet) Wilcox at the home of her grandparents on North Mesa on Nov. 2, 1935. She attended Montrose High School where she was active in music, drama and jounalism. She graduated in 1953. She attended Western State College where she was a marching drum majorette and a pianist.
She married William Charlesworth on Aug. 22, 1953.
Mrs. Lyons was active in fundraising for polio treatments, the Red Cross and the American Heart Association.
She is survived by her children, Randy (Jime) Charlesworth of Delta, Tammie (Larry) Tabor of Norwood and Beckie Charlesworth Smith of Montrose; three stepchildren, Brad Lyons of Kansas, Denise (Bill) King of Denver and Tracy (Steve) Benningsdorf of Mont-rose; six grandchildren; seven stepgrandchildren, eight great-grandchildren; two stepgreat-grandchildren; and her husband, Dennis Lyons.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, William Charlesworth.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m., Saturday, June 18, at Olathe City Cemetery.

At about 9:50 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 14, officers of the Delta Police Department were dispatched to a robbery reported at Arby's, located at 107 Gunnison River Drive. An extensive search of the area was conducted and the suspect was not located.
The suspect was reported to have walked into Arby's and after a brief conversation with an employee, was able to leave the store with a small amount of cash and coins.
