Barry Bruce Paull died Friday, Jan. 29, 2016, at Hospice Care Center in Grand Junction. He was 79.
Memorial services will be held at a later date.
Mr. Paull was born in Wapato, Wash., in 1936 to Sheldon and Myrtle (Douglas) Paull. He spent his childhood in Boulder.
On May 2, 1958, he married Priscilla "Jean" Graves in Boulder.
Mr. Paul worked as a miner and head equipment operator in uranium and gold mines. He helped build Chicago's drainage system, and worked on Eisenhower Tunnel on Interstate 70.
After retirement, the Paulls lived in Cedaredge before moving to Delta 10 years ago.
Mr. Paull enjoyed watching television, hunting, fishing and making sure his tools were still in his shop.
He is survived by his wife, Jean Paull of Delta; a daughter, Patty Paull of Delta; a son, Bruce (Jeri) Paull of Aurora; two sisters, Rosalie Cruthers of Cedaredge and Mary Cruthers of Grand Junction; three grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
