We need leaders who can inspire others to be involved in learning about and participating in the process of governing our great nation, from the local to the highest levels. Knowledge of the laws that govern our nation, and the awareness of the root of the challenges that face "HER," down to the local level, are essential qualities for strong leadership.
I believe these qualities are manifested in Roger Bentley, and I urge others to give careful consideration in support of his campaign for County Commissioner District 3.
On Dec. 4 Delta County Commissioners Doug Atchley, Mark Roeber and Don Suppes denied the application of Paonia Holdings, LLC for a change of land use for the property at 41322 Highway 133, with an adjacent residence at 41402 Highway 133 and an ancillary property at 16180 Stevens Gulch Road.
The property is owned by Bowie Resources, LLC, and was formerly used as a coal load-out site.
