Delta resident Betty Louise Vincent died at Colorow Care Center Aug. 8, 2016. She was 83.
Graveside funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, Aug. 12, at the Delta City Cemetery with Rev. Justin Atchley officiating.
Mrs. Vincent was born Jan. 13, 1933, to Vernon and Ethel (Springer) Christopher. She grew up in Delta and graduated from Delta High School in 1952.
On Sept. 3, 1954, she married Charles Warren Vincent in Delta.
Mrs. Vincent worked as a secretary for Rocky Mountain Natural Gas Company until she retired from that company.
She is survived by three sons, Chuck (Rhonda) Vincent, Larry (Lynda) Vincent, and Ron (Sue) Vincent, all of Delta; 12 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Charles Vincent; and son, Dennis.

On Dec. 4 Delta County Commissioners Doug Atchley, Mark Roeber and Don Suppes denied the application of Paonia Holdings, LLC for a change of land use for the property at 41322 Highway 133, with an adjacent residence at 41402 Highway 133 and an ancillary property at 16180 Stevens Gulch Road.
The property is owned by Bowie Resources, LLC, and was formerly used as a coal load-out site.
