All-around bad boy of boogie-woogie and the blues, pianist David Vest returns to Paonia to open the Blue Sage's 2015-16 concert series with a master class and performance. Don't miss a night of honky-tonk, great storytelling and foot-stompin' fun Saturday, Sept. 12, at 7:30 p.m. Tickets can be purchased at the door, online at www.brownpapertickets.com/rofile/128662, by phone at 527-7243, or at the Blue Sage Center for the Arts, 226 Grand Avenue, Paonia.

If you're a keyboardist, you can apply for a master class that's open to the public. If you're an instrumentalist, the master class will be a great opportunity to gain some insight into basic skills of improvisation just by viewing the workshop.

Stop by the Blue Sage Gallery and pick up an application to participate as a keyboardist in the master class or purchase a ticket to attend the master class in person.
