Bradley D. Scott of Delta died Sunday, Aug. 21, 2016, at the Hope West Hospice Care Center in Grand Junction. He was 62.
A celebration of life service will be held at 2 p.m., Monday, Aug. 29, at Taylor Funeral Service Chapel in Delta. Inurnment will take place at a later date.
Bradley Scott was born in Milwaukee, Wis., on Feb. 9, 1954, to William and Elizabeth (Hytry) Scott. He spent his childhood in Milwaukee and graduated from James Madison High School.
He was raised a Catholic.
After graduation, he attended Marquette University where he earned a degree in finance. He later received his doctorate of pharmacy from South Dakota University. Later, Mr. Scott received his master's of business administration from the University of Wyoming.
On Nov. 13, 2009, he married Judy Howell in Grand Junction.
Mr. Scott enjoyed biking, history, traveling with family, skiing, sports, music and his pups. While at Marquette, he was a member of the basketball team.
He is survived by his wife, Judy of Delta; his son, Tyler Scott of Denver; and extended family.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Bill and Elizabeth Scott; and his brother, Dale Scott.

Delta Volunteer Fire Department (DVFD) will be holding its annual fireworks show at Confluence Park on Wednesday, July 4, having received approval from Delta City Council at the council's June 5 meeting.
The DVFD has 28 volunteers and expects to have eight to 10 firefighters from Cedaredge join them this year.
