Cedaredge's first tennis match of the season was a 4-3 loss to Fruita Monument High School on March 8.
Playing at home, the Bruins won three of seven matches against the Wildcats.
Ali Pfenneberger defeated Fruita's Braedy Stoddard 6-2 and 6-2 in 1S competition. Elizabeth Ponce was a 6-3, 6-4 winner over the Wildcats' Lauren Benson.
In 2D play, Sarah Tullis and Rikki Klaseen teamed up to defeat Fruita's No. 2 Doubles team, 6-3 and 6-0.
Cedaredge is scheduled to play on Friday, March 18, at Montrose High School at 4 p.m.
The Bruins are in Grand Junction on March 19 to face Cortez at Canyon View Park beginning at 10 a.m.
On Dec. 4 Delta County Commissioners Doug Atchley, Mark Roeber and Don Suppes denied the application of Paonia Holdings, LLC for a change of land use for the property at 41322 Highway 133, with an adjacent residence at 41402 Highway 133 and an ancillary property at 16180 Stevens Gulch Road.
The property is owned by Bowie Resources, LLC, and was formerly used as a coal load-out site.
