Wilfred "Bud" Glammeyer died Monday, Sept. 19, 2016, at his home in Delta. He was 68.
At his request, no formal services will be held. Interment has taken place at Delta City Cemetery.
Mr. Glammeyer was born in Denver Feb. 10, 1948, to Wilfred and Velma (Buss) Glammeyer. He spent his childhood in Denver, Crawford and Olathe.
He married Sara Ann Wilson in Wheat Ridge in June 1967.
In April 1968, he joined the U.S. Army. During three years of service he guarded missiles in Germany and murderers at Fitzsimons.
After leaving the Army, he attended Red Rocks Community College in Denver, graduating in 1979.
He was a construction worker who also worked at Burkey Lumber, Renfrow's Furniture, Olathe Co-op, the City of Delta, H&H Bolt and Meadow Gold before his retirement.
He enjoyed watching the Denver Broncos and Colorado Avalanche, and raising cows and calves.
He is survived by his wife, Sara of Delta; his son, Steven (Kim) Glammeyer of Delta; his daughter, Stephanie (Alan) Womack of Forney, Texas; and four grandchildren, Christopher, Mark, Latiscea and Niyla, all of Forney, Texas.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother and a sister.

At about 9:50 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 14, officers of the Delta Police Department were dispatched to a robbery reported at Arby's, located at 107 Gunnison River Drive. An extensive search of the area was conducted and the suspect was not located.
The suspect was reported to have walked into Arby's and after a brief conversation with an employee, was able to leave the store with a small amount of cash and coins.
