Two Delta County wrestling teams participated in the Valley Classic in Center this past weekend.

Norwood/Nucla scored 131 points and finished fifth in the 22-team field.
Hotchkiss claimed just one individual title with Wade Katzdorn winning at 160 pounds. The Bulldogs were in the hunt for titles in four separate matches.
Sergio Campos lost to Salida's Ryan Moltz (36-1) at 113, Colton Hall was edged in the 132-pound bout, Kaden Murray-Owens lost to Norwood/Nucla's Trenton Armintrout at 170 and Devin Curtis fell in the 195-pound match, scoring plenty of points to carry Hotchkiss to a team title.
