Hotchkiss got just what it needed for Homecoming.

Wade Katzdorn scored four touchdowns, the Bulldogs snagged three consecutive onside kicks and Hotchkiss scored early and often en route to a 61-0 Western Slope Conference win over Lake County last Friday night in Hotchkiss.

Hotchkiss (2-4, 1-1) got points from six different players in the big win. Katzdorn led the way with touchdown runs of 19, 26, 1 and 27 yards for the Bulldogs.

Hotchkiss led 26-0 after one quarter and 32-0 at halftime.

Colton Peebles recorded a 24-yard touchdown scamper, and he kicked three extra points in the win for the Bulldogs.

Nate Arreguin scored on a 30-yard interception return, then did the honors on a 12-yard touchdown run as Hotchkiss scored 29 more points in the second half.

Cole Carvill capped the scoring outburst with his 30-yard run and Hotchkiss rolled to the win.

The Bulldogs meet Grand Valley, in Parachute, this Friday at 7 p.m.
