The Blue Sage Center for the Arts, 226 Grand Avenue, Paonia, will start offering a monthly Bunco night on Thursday, April 13.
Bunco is a fast-paced game where 12 players jockey for position at the "head table" by rolling dice while competing for prizes. The game dates back to 19th century England and was popular as a gaming activity in 1850s San Francisco. Bunco Night will be held the second Thursday of every month beginning at 7:30 p.m. No special skills are needed. Cost is $10 at the door and pre-registration is highly recommended by visiting www.bluesage.org.
On Tuesday, Sept. 11, the Delta County Board of Commissioners called a special meeting to consider the board's response to the Bureau of Land Management's preliminary Environmental Assessment (EA) concerning the lease parcels proposed for the December BLM sale.
Several people from the North Fork were present to provide input.
