Local businesses in Delta County are competing against each other to sell the most turkey hands to help the Partners mentoring program and children in our community. Please spend a dollar and buy a turkey hand when you go out to eat at either Taco Time or CB's Tavern. The business that sells the most turkey hands will win prize money and the individual server at that location who sells the most will also win a cash prize. When you buy a turkey hand the biggest winners will be our local kids who need mentors.

Partners of Delta, Montrose and Ouray is a nonprofit organization dedicated to building one-to-one mentoring partnerships between young people and responsible caring adults. Spending an average of three hours a week with a local child, volunteers have a supported opportunity to make a positive difference in the life of a child. Partners asks for a commitment of one year, but many partnerships become friends for life. People who will take the time to listen, understand, share experiences and want to become a friend to a young person should seriously consider becoming a mentor for Partners. Please call 970-874-4661 or visit our web site at www.partners-west.org.

With your support Partners can continue to fund its mentoring programs and make a difference in our community.
