Black Canyon Camera Club is hosting "Color Me Ansel," a western Colorado photography show and sale to be held at Bill Heddles Recreation Center in Delta May 11-14.
This show will celebrate the classic landscape photography of Ansel Adams and other masters of photography. Monochrome and color imaging, both film and digital, will be accepted. Matted and framed art ready for sale is a requirement.
All experience levels are welcome. The show judge is Denise Bush, a professional fine art photographer and graphic designer from Ridgway.
Cash prizes and awards will be given in all categories.
An early registration discount is available until April 1. Deadline for entries is April 15. Entry titles can be submitted until May 6. The show is limited to 135 entries. Prospectus and entry form are available online, www.blackcanyoncameraclub.org.

On Tuesday, Sept. 11, the Delta County Board of Commissioners called a special meeting to consider the board's response to the Bureau of Land Management's preliminary Environmental Assessment (EA) concerning the lease parcels proposed for the December BLM sale.
Several people from the North Fork were present to provide input.
