Black Canyon Camera Club is hosting a Lightroom 6 beginner workshop March 12, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., at Bill Heddles Recreation Center in Delta.
Lightroom is a photo-editing program developed specifically for photographers. You will learn how to import, organize and develop your pictures the right way. You will work with award-winning photographer and educator Steve Traudt on your own laptop computer as he shows you how to easily improve your pictures.
The camera club's annual photography show is coming up in May, and organizers want photographers to have their best chance to enter winning photographs. Seating is limited to 10 or 12 registrants (depending on the attendees' experience).
Traudt provides a DVD with all the information he covers in the workshop (plus much more) so you can review what you learned at home. Early registration is $135 for this all-day workshop (good until Feb. 28). Contact Rae-Ann Simmons at email@example.com or 856-7809 for more information. See blackcanyon

On Tuesday, Sept. 11, the Delta County Board of Commissioners called a special meeting to consider the board's response to the Bureau of Land Management's preliminary Environmental Assessment (EA) concerning the lease parcels proposed for the December BLM sale.
Several people from the North Fork were present to provide input.
