Carla J. Humphrey died Aug. 1, 2017, at her home in Crawford. She was 62.
She was born in New York Feb. 7, 1955, to Carl and Patricia (Knowlton) Loud. She spent her childhood and graduated from high school in Campbell, N.Y.
She enjoyed jewelry making, painting, arts and crafts, camping and softball.
She is survived by her parents, Carl and Patricia Loud of Morrisville, N.C.; husband, George Lopez of Crawford; two sons, Chad Humphrey of Corning, N.Y., and Adam Makitra of Bath, N.Y.; two sisters, Cheryl Loud-Maxey of Morrisville, N.C., and Paula Windows of Addison, N.Y.; and four grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a brother-in-law, Milson.
Taylor Funeral Service and Crematory is handling the arrangements.
At about 9:50 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 14, officers of the Delta Police Department were dispatched to a robbery reported at Arby's, located at 107 Gunnison River Drive. An extensive search of the area was conducted and the suspect was not located.
The suspect was reported to have walked into Arby's and after a brief conversation with an employee, was able to leave the store with a small amount of cash and coins.
