Following an absence of too many years from the Cedaredge Chamber of Commerce roster of regular activities, the monthly Business After Hours has been revived.
The networking events will be held on the first Thursday of each month when a sponsoring local business is willing to serve as host at its location, chamber officials say. The BAH events will be hosted by a chamber member and are open to other chamber members for a $5 cover charge.
Chamber vice president Phyllis Hoffman said that "structured networking" will be the goal of the events aimed to help business people connect with one another.
The first in the new BAH series was hosted by Phylisa Weed, owner, and her staff at Divine Experience Salon and Spa. Phylisa, massage therapist Eric Dyer and hair stylist Delana Adams offer professional services for hair, nails, waxing, skin, massage and tanning. Divine Experience is located at 110 SE Frontier Avenue behind Leisure Time Sports.
Hoffman said the chamber wants to hear from other businesses that would like to host the monthly BAH event at their location. The chamber phone number is 856-6961.
