Cedaredge resident Charlene A. Burnett died Feb. 10, 2018, at her home. She was 76.
At her request, no formal services will be held. Cremation has taken place.
Charlene Ann Proctor was born in Paradox on June 22, 1941, to Robert and Emma (Swain) Proctor. She spent her childhood in Paradox and attended school in Nucla and Montrose. After graduation, she attended Arapahoe Junior College.
She married Roger Bishop. They had two daughters before the marriage was dissolved by divorce.
On Nov. 24, 1980, she married Kenneth Burnett in Las Vegas, Nev. She gained two stepsons and one stepdaughter.
In 1984, they moved from Craig to Cedaredge.
Mrs. Burnett was a member of the Congregational Church in Paradox. She enjoyed the outdoors, fishing, hunting, camping, arrowhead hunting and spending time with her animals.
She is survived by her husband, Kenneth Burnett of Cedaredge; daughters, Kem (John) Piccinati of Carbondale and Julie (Warren) Allmon of Silt; stepsons, Gregg (Barb) Burnett of Cedaredge and Michael (Corine) Burnett of Omaha, Neb.; brother, Mark (Judy) Proctor of Paradox; 10 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a grandson, Cody Curtis; brother, Gary Proctor; and stepdaughter, Tammy Burnett.
