Lifetime Delta County resident Steven Thomas Anderson died Tuesday, Dec. 15, 2015, at his home in Hotchkiss. He was 48.
A celebration of life will be held at 2 p.m., Saturday, Jan. 9, at Delta First Assembly of God with Rev. Jason Neely, Rowdy Shiflet and Jerry Hogan officiating. Services will conclude at the church.
Mr. Anderson is survived by his mother, Pamela Anderson; two brothers, Bryan (Melody) Anderson of Cedaredge and Robert Anderson of Austin; one sister, Pam Anderson of Austin; and extended family.

On Dec. 4 Delta County Commissioners Doug Atchley, Mark Roeber and Don Suppes denied the application of Paonia Holdings, LLC for a change of land use for the property at 41322 Highway 133, with an adjacent residence at 41402 Highway 133 and an ancillary property at 16180 Stevens Gulch Road.
The property is owned by Bowie Resources, LLC, and was formerly used as a coal load-out site.
