The Cedaredge Rotary Club and Les & DJ Mergelman are organizing the free Community Christmas Dinner again this year. As in the past years, it will be held at the Stolte Shed at Pioneer Town, from 11:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
This popular dinner continues to grow every year. Each year more than 250 people have attended. This dinner is open to anyone who would like to come, so don't spend Christmas alone -- come enjoy wonderful food and fellowship on this most special day of the year.
As you can imagine, providing a dinner of this magnitude requires many things, not the least of which is lots of volunteers, and any monetary donations will be very much appreciated to cover the expense of the meal. Any monetary donations should be turned in by Dec. 12 in order to purchase the food.
If you would like to volunteer or help out in any way, call Marsha Bryan at 234-8800. There will be Christmas Eve setup duties at the "shed," food preparation, on site, prior to the dinner, and serving and clean-up duties. All volunteers are also welcome to enjoy the dinner.
Checks should be made out to "Community Christmas Dinner" and can be mailed to either address below or submitted to Les or DJ or any Cedaredge Rotary Club member.
Contact Les and DJ Mergelman at 380 NE Shady Oak Ave., Cedaredge, CO 81413; or Cedaredge Rotary Club, P.O. Box 750, Cedaredge, CO 81413.
