Count your blessings

By Mona Fawver

Dear Editor:

Each day as I come in contact with other people I am amazed at the many who have no understanding or realization of how blessed they are.

Each morning as I stretch, flex and tweek various parts of my body to get the blood flowing and the muscles warmed up, I am thankful I am able to do so and able to use my five senses.

I have a panoramic view of Grand Mesa outside of my living room window. I have a roof over my head, food to eat and clothes to wear.

I have music to listen to, books to read, movies to watch and the Internet for research -- I am blessed!

Be thankful for all that you have rather than just feel mediocre about your life.

You're a living, breathing person so be a positive in this world.
