According to a report delivered last month to the county commissioners, there were just over 210 full-time equivalent employees on the county payroll.
The report was compiled by the human resources department.
According to the report, the largest county department by number of full-time equivalents is human services, which employs 46.9 FTEs.
Next in size is the county's road and bridge department with 33.34 FTEs on the payroll.
Those two are followed in descending order by the jail with 26.85 FTEs; sheriff with 24; health with 12.4; assessor with 9.9; clerk and recorder with 9; dispatch with 9; and buildings and grounds (including the fairgrounds) with 6.35 FTEs.
