St. Luke's Episcopal Church will host a craft and jewelry sale to benefit the African Team Ministries. The sale will be held on two consecutive Saturdays, Oct. 15 and 22, from noon to 4 p.m. The merchandise can also be viewed after worship services on Oct. 16 and 23.
The sale will feature a fantastic assortment of jewelry made from natural and semi-precious stones as well as beautiful carvings from African woods and more. Everything is very reasonably priced. All proceeds go to African Team Ministries, which raises funds to bring clean water to drought-torn parts of Africa.
The church is located on the northeast corner of 5th and Palmer in Delta.
On Dec. 4 Delta County Commissioners Doug Atchley, Mark Roeber and Don Suppes denied the application of Paonia Holdings, LLC for a change of land use for the property at 41322 Highway 133, with an adjacent residence at 41402 Highway 133 and an ancillary property at 16180 Stevens Gulch Road.
The property is owned by Bowie Resources, LLC, and was formerly used as a coal load-out site.
