Trustees on the Crawford Town Council voted at the Jan. 4 council meeting to consult with the town attorney on pending litigation. The vote was made following an executive session to receive legal advice on litigation questions from town attorney Jim Brown, who was present at the meeting. Council voted unanimously to approve consultation with Brown by Mayor Wanda Gofforth and Mayor Pro Tem Mike Tiedeman, "with the understanding that the town attorney (Jim Brown) direct the case," according to a Jan. 10 email from town clerk Cally Gallegos.
No other action was taken at the meeting. The town's next work session is scheduled for 7 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 18, at Crawford Town Hall.
