As an organization committed to the health of its employees and the community it serves, all DCMH properties are now tobacco free environments. On June 20, Delta County Memorial Hospital officially put into place a tobacco free policy. This policy applies to all staff, visitors, vendors, patients and their families. What this means is that there will be no smoking or chewing of tobacco products within the facilities or property of DCMH.
On Tuesday, Sept. 11, the Delta County Board of Commissioners called a special meeting to consider the board's response to the Bureau of Land Management's preliminary Environmental Assessment (EA) concerning the lease parcels proposed for the December BLM sale.
Several people from the North Fork were present to provide input.
