It's about time to celebrate our seniors, age 90 and over, with the Senior 90s luncheons, scheduled on Wednesday, April 13, at the four senior centers in Delta County.
Sponsored by the Delta County Council on Aging and the senior centers, seniors age 90 and over will be honored for their longevity and life-long contributions to their community with a free meal and special recognition on that day.
A large attendance is expected, so the deadline to make reservations, both for those 90 and over, and others who wish to attend at regular prices, is Wednesday, March 30. This will help with a meal count for the event for Senior Comm-Unity Meals.
To make your reservation, call the senior center you wish to attend at -- Delta, 874-7837; Cedaredge, 856-3636; Hotchkiss, 872-3494; or Paonia, 527-3435. Meal prices are $3 for those age 60 and over, $8.40 for those under age 60, and free this day only for those age 90 and above.
