Cedaredge resident Earl Dean Sullivan died Thursday, Feb. 11, 2016, at Colorow Care Center in Olathe. He was 75.
Funeral services were held Monday, Feb. 15, at Taylor Funeral Service Chapel in Delta with Dale Sullivan officiating. Interment followed at Mesa View Cemetery in Delta.
Mr. Sullivan was born in Haxtun Sept. 29, 1940, to Clyde and Beatrice (Atkinson) Sullivan. He graduated from Haxtun High School in 1959. He attended business school in Cleveland, Ohio.
On Sept. 3, 1961, he married Marjorie Bandimere in Golden. They lived in Las Vegas, Nev., before moving to Cedaredge 15 years ago.
Mr. Sullivan enjoyed spending time with his family, home building and his faith.
He is survived by a son, Maury (Vanessa) Sullivan of Delta; four daughters, DeAnn (Don) Morfitt of Delta, Colleen (Kevin) Frovarp of Colorado Springs, Denise (Matthew) Furubotten of Cedaredge and Kizy (Roger) Melvin of Pueblo; two brothers, Clydell (Beverly) Sullivan of Mesquite, Nev., and Dale (Sheryl) Sullivan of Springlake, Mich.; 13 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 54 years, Marjorie Sullivan; three brothers, Lowell, Orville and Leroy Sullivan; and an infant sister, Loraine Sullivan.
Taylor Funeral Service and Crematory handled the arrangements.
