The Delta Area Chamber of Commerce will host its annual banquet Saturday, March 12, at Bill Heddles Recreation Center. In addition to dinner and business meeting, awards will be presented to Business of the Year, Non-Profit of the Year and Volunteer of the Year. Nomination forms can be found on the chamber's website, www.deltacolorado.org, under the events tab.
The Business of the Year award will recognize longstanding contributions to the community and significant community efforts. The winning business must be in good standing with the Delta Area Chamber of Commerce and contribute to the economic growth, stability and improvement of the Delta area.
The Non-Profit of the Year must also be in good standing with the chamber, as well as loyal and dedicated to the community at large.
The Volunteer of the Year award will recognize an individual who unselfishly volunteers his or her time outside the work place.
Nomination forms must be returned to the chamber prior to Friday, Feb. 26. Nominations will be reviewed by a committee made up of representatives from the Delta Area Chamber of Commerce. Finalists will be contacted to assure they're able to attend the event.
