Delta County Memorial Hospital (DCMH) announces the entire hospital, physical rehabilitation and Grand Mesa Oncology & Infusion have been re-accredited through August 2020.
Patrick Horine, CEO of DNV-GL related in a letter to DCMH CEO Jason Cleckler dated July 18, 2017, that "pursuant to the authority granted by DNV-GL Healthcare USA, Inc., based in Katy, Texas, by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, that DCMH is in compliance with Medicare Conditions of Participation for Hospitals and awarded full accreditation for a three year term, DNV-GL is also recommending DCMH for continued deemed status in the Medicare program."
The DNV-GL CEO added his congratulations on this "significant achievement."
"The administrative team at Delta hospital is proud of the commitment and dedication of our hardworking management team, and for each and every employee," said Jody Roeber, chief clinical officer. "It takes everyone to assure standards are met and re-accreditation is possible. We would like to extend a special thanks to the quality department, especially Jessica Stunden, the DNV coordinator. We have a wonderful group of hardworking professionals at DCMH; they have made this hospital a very caring place for both patients and staff."
The accreditation requires an annual survey and DCMH's continual compliance with the DNV-HC accreditation process.
