Delta swimmers near end

Delta High School swim team is finished with its regular schedule for the 2017 season. The Panthers have showed vast improvement through the season and will end the year with district competition this week.

Kendra Hillman had two of the best finishes for Delta's Jan. 20 home meet. She was first in the 100 breaststroke (1:19.16) and picked up a first in the 200 individual medley (2:37.37).

Olivia McCrackin had a second in the 200 individual medley (2:40.05) and the 200 medley relay team was second as well (2:15.29) with the second team placing sixth (2:29.10). McCrackin was third (1:13) in the backstroke.

At last week's big meet in Montrose, Hillman was second in the breaststroke (1:19.41) and fourth in the 200 individual medley (2:40.99).

Results from these two meets can be found in today's Scoreboard found on B8.
