After talking with two gentlemen looking over the workings of the new fiber internet, I thought I would write and say, "Thank you, DMEA for bringing jobs to Delta county." The jobs to local people will be greatly appreciated since the mines have been shut down by our "esteemed" president. The jobs you provide for this area will supply jobs for the unskilled (never working with fiber optics) and the skilled (ones who have branched out and learned the benefits of fiber optics).
Please keep the local people working and not hire it out to people who have not supported or will support our local economy.
At about 9:50 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 14, officers of the Delta Police Department were dispatched to a robbery reported at Arby's, located at 107 Gunnison River Drive. An extensive search of the area was conducted and the suspect was not located.
The suspect was reported to have walked into Arby's and after a brief conversation with an employee, was able to leave the store with a small amount of cash and coins.
