Members of Delta-Montrose Electric Association (DMEA) are invited to join the co-op to enjoy finger foods and sample Big B's products at Power Bites Friday, May 11, at Big B's Delicious Orchards in Paonia between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. Both DMEA and Elevate fiber representatives will be on hand to answer questions and get to know the membership.
Power Bites was created as part of the co-op's renewed efforts to be accessible to its members. This year, DMEA has hosted Power Bites in Montrose, Cedaredge, Crawford, and now Paonia. All events are free and open to the public. Additionally, members will also have the opportunity to learn more about Elevate Fiber, DMEA's fiber internet subsidiary. Elevate staff members will be there to help people preregister for service and answer questions.
"The most valuable conversations and the most insightful feedback always come when we're able directly meet up with our members. But making that personal connection is hard today -- our lives are busy, so why not go to our members and meet them where they already are," said DMEA CEO Jason Bronec.
Power Bites is free to attend. There will be no formal topic or presentation and the public can come and go as they please. Members are encouraged to ask questions on the topics of their choosing. For more information and the full schedule of Power Bites events visit www.dmea.com or contact Becky at 970-240-1263 or email@example.com.
