DPD search results in arrests

On May 18, officers of the Delta Police Department, with the assistance from the Delta County Sheriff's Office and Montrose County Sheriff's Office, conducted a search warrant at 960 Crawford Avenue, Delta. The warrant was related to drugs, drug use and possession, drug manufacturing and distribution, firearms, cell phones and any other items which may be illegal, stolen or otherwise implicating in criminal activity. Four people were arrested as a result of the search warrant. Additional charges may be pending.

Deniece E. Dayton, 57, of Delta was arrested and jailed for alleged possession of Schedule II controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia with a $2,000 bond.

Tora N. Boyle, 39, of Olathe was also located inside the residence during the search. He was arrested and jailed on a warrant out of Montrose County with a $500 bond.

An arrest warrant was issued for Brian K. Burstein, 47, of Delta for alleged possession of Schedule II controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia with a $2,000 bond. An arrest warrant was also issued on Laura L. Clark, 36, of Delta for alleged possession of Schedule II controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia with a $2,000 bond. Both were jailed a short time later.
