Mark A. Huun, MD brings 24 years of internal medicine experience in group practice settings from the Denver metro area to Internal Medicine Associates, which is owned and operated by Delta County Memorial Hospital in Delta.
Dr. Huun is board certified in internal medicine with continuing medical education in geriatrics, rheumatology, neurology, endocrinology, cardiology and internal medicine. He also has advanced training and experience in reading pre-operative EKGs.
Dr. Huun received awards for outstanding management of hypertension and outstanding EKS assessment by Colorado Permanente Medical Group (CMPG - Kaiser. He also earned high patient satisfaction ratings from Kaiser.
He earned honors in biological sciences for his undergraduate degree from University of California at Davis, and his doctor of medicine from Tulane School of Medicine in New Orleans, La. Dr. Huun's residency and an internship were at Presbyterian/St. Luke's Medical Center in Denver.
Dr Huun believes it is important for primary care physicians to help patients navigate the sea of information available to them and give practical, quality advice.

Delta Volunteer Fire Department (DVFD) will be holding its annual fireworks show at Confluence Park on Wednesday, July 4, having received approval from Delta City Council at the council's June 5 meeting.
The DVFD has 28 volunteers and expects to have eight to 10 firefighters from Cedaredge join them this year.
