Dwayne Tenbrink

Dwayne Larry Tenbrink died June 3, 2017, at his home. He was 77.

He was born in Otis to Earl and Theresia Tenbrink on June 8, 1939. He joined the Army soon after graduating high school and after his honorable discharge, he returned to Otis and married Linda in 1961.

They moved to the Denver area, where they lived for 45 years. After a few years as a construction painter, Mr. Tenbrink was a supervisor in hospital construction until he retired. He continued to work after retirement flipping houses. He and his wife moved to Delta in 2006.

He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Linda; sons, Andy (Carol) and Mike (Natalie); a brother, Darrell; a sister, Fern Purvis; two grandsons; two step-grandddaughters; three step-great-grandchildren; and extended family.

He was preceded in death by his brothers, Earle Jr., Kenneth and Orville Tenbrink.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 24, at 1 p.m. at Delta First Assembly of God. A veteran graveside service will follow.
