Edith Colleen Kumpar of Littlestown, Pa., died Aug. 29, 2017, at York Hospital in Pennsylvania. She was 77.
Funeral services were held Sept. 2 at Little's Funeral Home in Littlestown. Reverend Ryan Fisher of St. Joseph Catholic Church officiated. Inurnment was private.
She was born Aug. 2, 1940, to Melvin and Edith (Horton) Moore in Gooding, Idaho. She graduated from Paonia High School in 1958 and from Central Business College in Denver.
She was an administrative assistant for Adventure Tours of Randallstown, Pa, and a member of St. Aloysius Catholic Church in Littlestown, Pa. She enjoyed spending time with her family.
She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Walter Kumpar of Littlestown, Pa.; children, Matt (Julie) Kumpar, Maria (Rob) Miller and Paul (Lisa) Kumpar, all of Westminster, Pa., and Michael (Pamela) Kumpar of Upperco, Pa.; grandchildren, Ashley, Aaron and Adam Miller, Paul and Ryan Kumpar, and Ellianna, Gracie and Benjamin Kumpar; and two sisters, Phyllis (Donnie) Wallace of Paonia and Shirley (Wayne) Greenhill of Aurora; and extended family.

Little's Funeral Home in Littlestown, Pa., handled the arrangements.
On Dec. 4 Delta County Commissioners Doug Atchley, Mark Roeber and Don Suppes denied the application of Paonia Holdings, LLC for a change of land use for the property at 41322 Highway 133, with an adjacent residence at 41402 Highway 133 and an ancillary property at 16180 Stevens Gulch Road.
The property is owned by Bowie Resources, LLC, and was formerly used as a coal load-out site.
