Olive Eileen Miller died Thursday, Sept. 17, 2015. She was 89.
She was born in Wayside, Neb., May 12, 1926, to Lawrence and Margaret (Helena) Nixon. She spent most of her childhood in Oelrichs, S.D., where she graduated from Oelrichs High School.
On Nov. 23, 1947, she married Paul Miller.
Mrs. Miller was a member of St. Luke's Episcopal Church in Delta.
She is survived by her husband of 67 years, Paul Miller of Montrose; her son, Alan Miller of Cartersville, Ga.; her daughter, Pauline Dale of Indianapolis, Ind.; eight grandchildren; and 21 great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m., Wednesday, Sept. 23, at St. Luke's Episcopal Church.

On Tuesday, Sept. 11, the Delta County Board of Commissioners called a special meeting to consider the board's response to the Bureau of Land Management's preliminary Environmental Assessment (EA) concerning the lease parcels proposed for the December BLM sale.
Several people from the North Fork were present to provide input.
