Elberta #106 held its annual yard/bake/breakfast burrito fundraiser during AppleFest. The weather was great, and lots of people were out to enjoy the festivities. The breakfast burritos and bake sale are always a big hit with the public. Yard sale lookers of all kinds attended ours as well as the many others around town.

Our first meeting this month found us getting ready for Grand Lodge. There will be four members attending from Elberta this year. We also started plans for the president's visit in November. We have a special program in the works, so we hope to see all of you there. We meet on the first and third Mondays at 1 p.m. in Cedaredge.

"As noble grand this year, I want to thank the members of Elberta #106 for all the help in putting this annual event together," said Bonnie Pope. "We are a well-oiled group and always seem to get things done. I'm proud to be a part of it. We also want to thank City Market, Safeway and Walmart for donations made to the lodge. They were greatly appreciated."
