There are lots of empty seats in our churches today. Christians who should be sitting in those pews are absent. We have allowed ourselves to leave our fellow worshipers and our pastors behind. We have allowed laziness, work and pursuits for pleasure to take our places. That tells the whole story of America's dilemma.
God has offered America an unbelievable deal and His promise if we accept His offer!
"If my people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face and turn from their wicked ways, I will hear them from heaven and I will heal their land." Chronicles 7:14
The divide in our nation is too great, too wide for man to bring it together. But God can and will. We as Christians need to pray daily for the healing for our nation. With His help we can do what he asks and reap the benefit for ourselves and our children.
Our churches have lots of empty seats; there is lots of room. Dads, load up the car and bring the family to church on Sunday mornings. See you there!
On Dec. 4 Delta County Commissioners Doug Atchley, Mark Roeber and Don Suppes denied the application of Paonia Holdings, LLC for a change of land use for the property at 41322 Highway 133, with an adjacent residence at 41402 Highway 133 and an ancillary property at 16180 Stevens Gulch Road.
The property is owned by Bowie Resources, LLC, and was formerly used as a coal load-out site.
