Cedaredge resident Ethel L. Kissner died Feb. 2, 2017, at her home. She was 72.
A memorial service will be held Friday, Feb. 10, 1 p.m. at Cedaredge Assembly of God with Pastor Bob Hillyer officiating.
She was born on Dec. 3, 1944, in Roswell, N.M., to Benjamin and Alice (Newton) Montgomery. She attended school in Gateway and graduated in 1962.
On March 30, 1962, she married Dan Kissner in Ouray.
She enjoyed music, playing the piano, gardening, cooking, and caring for her family and friends.
Mrs. Kissner is survived by her children, Todd Kissner, Tim (Amy) Kissner, Robin (Greg Smith) Kissner of Cedaredge and Sherry (Robert) Henrie, all of Cedaredge; three brothers, Mitch Montgomery, Grandy Montgomery and Ben Montgomery, all of Arizona; one sister, Joyce Olson of Cedaredge; 10 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and good friend, Jack Hitt.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 44 years, Dan Kissner.
