Eva Lee Caldwell died Jan. 23, 2018. She was 78.
She was born in Texas on Oct. 2, 1939, to Shelby and Ruby Bishop.
On June 17, 1957, she married Billy Caldwell.
She owned a craft supply store in Great Bend, Kan., and in Delta. She enjoyed spending time with her family, gardening, dogs and playing with electronics.
She is survived by her children, Monty (Shelly) Caldwell of Montrose, Wayne (Noni) Caldwell of Westcliffe, Ron (Pam) Marta of Alabama and Toni (Melvin) James of Delta; numerous grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her husband and two siblings.
A private family celebration is planned for a later date.
Memorial contributions may be made to Volunteers of America in Eckert.

On Tuesday, Sept. 11, the Delta County Board of Commissioners called a special meeting to consider the board's response to the Bureau of Land Management's preliminary Environmental Assessment (EA) concerning the lease parcels proposed for the December BLM sale.
