Facts are stubborn things

By John F. Austin

Dear Editor:

One fact that isn't going away is the folly of anthropogenic climate change. Its adherents typically are delusional Democrats almost to a man. The 97 percent of scientists purported to accept human-caused climate change as an established fact have been thoroughly discredited by their peers. That segment of the scientific community exists solely to line its pockets with grant money from government as well as various left-wing charitable trusts, quite successfully as it happens.

"Come together," an idea urged by local dupes, is as phony as a nine-dollar bill. The intent is so obvious it should be thrown back in their faces. I for one will not come within a hundred miles of accepting the folly of anthropogenic climate change. Hooray for Rep. Tipton. He at least understands the facts of the matter.
